Teachers!
We’ve packed our bags and gone looking for some of the hottest teachers around to bring you swing dancing experiences from far flung places. Introducing our international teachers for Hullabaloo 2009
Zack Richard and Maryse Lebeau, Canada
Zack Richard and Maryse Lebeau, founders of the Swing ConneXion dance school in Montreal, Canada, are thrilled to be part of Hullabaloo 2009! Since 2001, the couple have travelled the world to teach swing dance and share their passion for dancing. Their love of dance and enthusiasm as teachers has already proved to be contagious in places like San Diego, San Francisco, Toronto, London, Paris, Munich, and all around the world!
As competitors, they are multiple times Canadian swing dance Champions, and together they have earned more than 50 competition titles worldwide, (including four straight years as Canadian Showcase Champions). In addition, Zack is a Canadian and International Classic Lindy Hop Champion.
Back home in Montreal, they enjoy spreading the love of dance, training their teams, and taking care of their daughter Camelia.

And for their first visit to Australia…
Marty Klempner and Kelly Arsenault, USA
Marty Klempner
One of the world's busiest Lindy and Balboa instructors, Marty has a reputation for concise explanations in the classroom. He stresses connection through a baseline of relaxation regardless of the style of dance. Marty began teaching and competing full time in the fall of 2002, and has since taken home bucket loads of titles at the National Jitterbug Championships and American Lindy Hop Championships.
Marty is enthusiastic about passing on his love and passion for dance and bringing a fresh, interesting, and light-hearted attitude to both the dance floor and the classroom. Marty has taught all over the United States, Canada and Europe.
